About the project
Café Belles Chansons is a music workshop devoted to one simple idea: exploring what artificial intelligence can bring to songwriting. The tracks draw their inspiration from anime music, Celtic sounds, rock, pop and J-pop — a blend of worlds that meet from one release to the next.
Behind the project stands a working musician and composer. It is a playground driven by pleasure and experimentation, with no ambition whatsoever to replace composers: human writing, performance and sensitivity remain irreplaceable.
The challenge is also to put AI's abilities to the test — to see how far it can go, where it strikes true and where it falls short. Not against musicians, but alongside them, like one more instrument. In the end, one thing alone guides every track: the pursuit of beautiful music.
